2022 ELECTIONS INTO THE NTU EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

CANDIDATES FOR THE 2022 NTU ELECTIONS

As per the Guidelines for the 2022 NTU elections into the Executive Committee for the period 2022 – 2026, the closing date for submission of all Nomination Forms was Friday 4th February 2022.

The Nomination Forms have subsequently been checked by the NTU Electoral Committee, to ensure that all the Candidates who submitted Nomination Forms are eligible to contest the elections holding during the NTU Election Congress on Thursday 24th February 2022.

Following that exercise, we announce that the underlisted five (5)Candidates are all qualified to contest for the various Elective Positions having satisfied the laid down criteria :

• President – Prince Adewale OLADUNJOYE

• 1st Vice President – Mrs Ize Ukpoma MATEBESE

• 2nd Vice President – Dr (Mrs) Esther Oluwatoyin ALUKO

• Secretary General – Mrs Comfort Obot NWANKWO

• Treasurer – Engineer (Mrs) Priscila IROAGANACHI

Although, from the above, there is only one Candidate for each Elective Position, voting will still take place at the Election Congress holding during the NTU AGM on Thursday 24th February 2022, so as to confirm the acceptance of each Candidate by the NTU electorate, acting on behalf of the larger NTU family. All the Candidates should, therefore, endeavour to be present.

The voting procedures will be as spelt out in the 2022 NTU Election Guidelines. Upon the conclusion of all the elections, and the declaration of all the results, Certificates of Return will be handed over to all the successful Candidates.
